This tight 5-12 member outfit has been delighting Towersonians for more than a decade…. touring even as far as Shabbington.
Led by Ken, the rhythm section powers the band with their characteristic driving syncopated beat. The middle ground is led by guitar Matt, linking seamlessly with Ian Keys and Jonny Rocks. Marky number 1 trumpet, if not touring, will be making up the brass section. At the front, Will, Sarah and Jim might have actually invented Rock n Roll and never fail to deliver. Rumour has it a sensational new vocal talent might be added to this star spangled line up.
After a break in which they explored their musical differences, No Direction re-unites for this unique event. The question is….. can this once mighty super group deliver as they once could?
Far From The City
Far From The City are a young Indie rock band from the south of the UK. Formed originally as a cover band nearly 7 years ago, Far From The City changed their lineup and switched to writing and performing their own music in 2024. The Medicine EP is just the start of their music catalogue that will be released throughout 2025!
The Powders have a history with the title track from their “Beauty” EP topping the charts in Chile of all places and their “Just By Breathing In” album reached number 1 on the American based KIAC chart
With a truly original musical sound, sweeping hook lines and fluid lyrical bass they create a superb natural vibe. Check out the excellent “Warm” album on spotify. The Powders performed at The Fringe in 2023 and we can’t wait to welcome them back to our stage this year.

Andy Robbins
Andy Robbins is a singer songwriter from Oxford. His sound being described as Americana with folk and blues influences. Growing up listening to his Dad’s music, which consisted of the The Beatles, Rolling Stones Eagles and The Clash to name a few Andy later found the music of Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and Neil Young.
Stealing his brother’s guitar at the age of 13, Andy is self taught, giving him a unique style. His career has taken him to play at many festivals and some iconic London venues; the O2, TheTroubadour, Battersea Power Station and Pinewood Studios. A career highlight from 2023 included supporting former Kasabian frontman Tom Meighan on the Oxford leg of his “Reckoning” tour.

India Yates
India Yates is a solo, independent, acoustic singer/songwriter based in Oxfordshire. A multi-instrumentalist, she plays a mix of original songs and covers on acoustic guitar with her soulful, mezzo-soprano voice.
Her sepia-toned songs evoke the sounds of the 1970’s, drawing comparisons to Carly Simon, Joan Baez and Linda Ronstadt. Since 2017, India has been a regular and much loved performer at local festivals, events and gigs in and around Oxon, Bucks and Norfolk. Highlights include Beacon Festival, Thame Town Music Festival and being a seasoned performer at the renowned First Thursday Music Club. India’s most recent EP, Love Letters (2023) has been widely well received with over 1000 streams on Spotify and has been played on BBC radio.
Into The South
Into The South are a female-fronted rock band that delivers electrifying performances fuelled by powerhouse vocals , soaring harmonies and a rhythm section that won’t quit.Led by the captivating voice of Sophie, Into The South craft anthems that blend raw energy with intricate melodies.
Each member of Into The South brings a unique fire to the stage. Danny unleashes soaring riffs & scorching leads, while Phil lays down a foundation of solid grooves, accompanied by Sandy’s funky rhythm. Albi keeps the pulse racing with his chest pounding drumming , creating a tight-knit unit that pulsates with infectious energy
With a live show that’s as captivating as their music , this band are quickly building a loyal following.
